A review of the literature on the employability of immigrants in Quebec

Reviewing literature on the employability of immigrants in Quebec is a technical and scientific support project. As part of the work of the Interministerial Committee on the Recognition of Professional Qualifications (Ministry of Immigration, Diversity and Inclusion), the Quebec Interprofessional Council (QIC) was given the responsibility of a working group. It will cover the access of Internationally Educated Professionals (IEPs) to the first job in their profession. The group’s mandate is to identify the primary job integration challenges for IEPs. It will also formulate the Interministerial Committee’s recommendations to improve their access to the Quebec labour market.

Given this mission, the QIC has called upon the IRIPI. It must identify, in recent literature (2010-2015), potential Quebec immigrant employability solutions.
